We’ll admit it, we’re a little out of our comfort zone with velvet (not literally, it’s the softest fabric ever!) as it brings back memories of crushed red velvet hotpants in the 90’s for Gem (yes, really) and brings Bertie out in an itchy panic. BUT, having tried on lots of different styles for this post we’re now totally crushing on velvet. And with Christmas just over 5 weeks away (how did that happen?) the high street is stocked full of velvet. If like us your party season is more like a party sprinkling, we want to make sure we get the most out of our party purchases. So how can velvet work for day and night? We show you how.
