Red Boots.

Winter has its upsides: soup, mulled wine, bonfire night, crunchy leaves and of course, the fashion.  Boots and coats are filling the shops and there is one stand out colour everywhere: RED.  Red can seem a bit much on a cold dark morning but when worn as an accessory, on the lips or feet, it simply means the rest of your outfit can be pretty simple and acts as an easy lift to make you feel more confident and pulled together.

Now we don’t actually need to buy more winter boots, our black, block heeled ankle boots from last winter still look great.  But we don’t own any red boots!  We really could do with a pair of those and there’s so much choice.  Flats or heels, kitten or chunky, ankle or over the knee (- yes really, but wear with a midi rather than mini skirt to avoid the ‘Pretty Woman’ look) there’s a style to suit everyone.

Love black?  Red boots make a black outfit sing. More of a blue jeans and jumper gal?  Add red boots and bring your look bang up to date.  Red looks great with grey, cool with leopard and, of course, its a perfect match with our fave: a stripe.
So if head to toe red just seems too daring – dip your toe in and try a red boot instead.
